You will receive a notification to update your password every 90 days.
Renew Password notification
Three days before expiration, you will receive a reminder email with instructions on how to update your password. If your password has not been updated, you will receive a final email reminder on the expiration date.
If you do not change your password after the final expiration notice, you'll receive an additional message informing you of your password's expiration and an invitation to reset your password.
On the Vault's login page, select “Forgot/ change password”.
A pop up will appear asking for the email address associated with the account.
Once you submit your email address, you'll see a message directing you to your email's inbox for further instructions. The email will contain a link to create a new password. Click the "Close" button if you received the email or click "Please Resend" if you did not.
If your new password meets security requirements, a pop up is displayed with the following message: “Congratulations. Your password has been updated”.
If your password does not meet the security requirements, an error mark will appear below all fields that don't meet the requirement and the "Send" button will remain disabled.
Your password must
- Be different than the last 6 passwords
- Contain the minimum required character length
And also meet at least 4 of the following requirements:
- Contain a lower case letter
- Contain a capital letter
- Contain a number
- Contain a special character
